Claire creció en el corazón de Estados Unidos. Es decidida, feminista y muy unida a su familia, aunque discute constantemente con su padre, un hombre de ideas tradicionales. Lo que más le irrita es tener que reconocer que, algunas veces, él tiene razón. Sólo algunas veces pero eso le irrita.
Apenas ha viajado. Lo más lejos que ha estado de casa fue una escapada a Nueva York con unas amigas.
Tiene las ideas claras y no suele echarse atrás.

Claire grew up in the American heartland. She is strong-minded, feminist and close to her family, although she is constantly arguing with her father, a man with fairly traditional views. What annoys her most is having to admit that, sometimes, he is right. Only sometimes but still irritates her.
She has barely travelled. The furthest she has been from home was a trip to New York with some girlfriends.
She knows what she believes in and rarely backs down.
