ARTIST STATEMENT
As an artist, I hold that beauty and harmony are essential elements in the human experience. I harness creativity as a tool to reshape reality, delving into the vastness of being part of something greater than oneself. My artistic process draws inspiration from nature, the visual, the poetic, love, and human emotions. Through painting, I immerse myself in the interplay of light and shadow, color and texture, with a focus on the figure as the protagonist of my works.
With a trajectory ranging from childhood drawings to university studies in Fine Arts and over two decades creating commissioned images for multinational corporations, during the last years I seek to communicate myself through my art. My aim is to steal moments of contemplation that offer an aesthetic experience, inviting reflection on life and human nature, valuing beauty in all its facets. I strive to make a positive impact on people's lives through art.
Success, for me, lies in evoking authentic sensations and thoughts through my creations. My commitment to art manifests in the belief that it can counteract dehumanizing elements observed in society. I am convinced that the enjoyment of authentic art can be a catalyst for setting things right.
I reside in Madrid with my wife, our two children, and three cats. My work is dedicated to all those who seek to enjoy what makes us complete human beings. Art is my means to resist degradation and celebrate the greatness of humanity.
DECLARACIÓN DE ARTISTA
Como artista, sostengo que la belleza y la armonía son elementos esenciales en la experiencia humana. Utilizo la creatividad como herramienta para remodelar la realidad, adentrándome en la inmensidad de ser parte de algo más grande que uno mismo. Mi proceso artístico se nutre de la naturaleza, lo visual, lo poético, el amor y las emociones humanas. A través de la pintura, me sumerjo en la interacción de la luz y la sombra, el color y la textura, centrándome en la figura como protagonista de mis obras.
Con una trayectoria que abarca desde los dibujos de la infancia hasta estudios universitarios en Bellas Artes y más de dos décadas creando imágenes por encargo para corporaciones multinacionales, en los últimos años busco comunicarme a través de mi arte. Mi objetivo es robar momentos de contemplación que ofrezcan una experiencia estética, invitando a reflexionar sobre la vida y la naturaleza humana, valorando la belleza en todas sus facetas. Me esfuerzo por generar un impacto positivo en la vida de las personas a través del arte.
Para mí, el éxito radica en evocar sensaciones y pensamientos auténticos a través de mis creaciones. Mi compromiso con el arte se manifiesta en la creencia de que puede contrarrestar elementos deshumanizadores observados en la sociedad. Estoy convencido de que el disfrute de un arte auténtico puede ser un catalizador para enderezar las cosas.
Vivo en Madrid con mi mujer, nuestros dos hijos y tres gatos. Mi trabajo está dedicado a todos aquellos que buscan disfrutar de lo que nos hace ser seres humanos completos. El arte es mi medio para resistir la degradación y celebrar la grandeza de la humanidad.
